We walk with intention, the intention to walk mindfully and peacfully for peace in the world.

We start our peace walk by turning left as we exit the Church car park. We walk mindfully and peacefully towards Victoria Road. We know real peace can only be achieved through peace.

People carry flowers as a reminder to ourselves and others that this is a peacefull walk.  We walk our peace walk for an hour and people are welcome to join the walk for as little time or as long a time as they would like.

At the crossing before Centra petrol station we cross the road to the right. Once across the road we turn left again towards Victoria Road.

We turn right onto Victoria road and towards Greystones harbour.

We walk towards the Cliff road and walk peacefully along the coast past the Cove beach and The Rise coffee shop. People often take a coffee break if they need to sit down and join us again when we are on our way back from the boardwalk at the South Beach.

We walk on the coast path down towards the boardwalk at South Beach.

We then turn around and return back to St Patricks Church car park by the same route. We have chosen the route in order to make it as accessable to as many people as possible. People can join in at any stage and walk in peace with us.

We are very grateful to St Patricks Church for permission to meet at the church car park as the starting point for this peacerful walk for peace in the world.

In these uncertain times the peaceful walk has given people a chance to talk together about the world at present and discuss together their wish for a better future.

People have found it uplifting and a help to ease the fear and stress that can be in the air at the present time.  People have told us that walking and talking peacefully in community with each other has been uplifting and has given a sence of doing something positive for the world.

Thank you for joining us and to friends and colleagues around the world uniting with us by walking in peace for peace at 3pm their local time. Spread the word, thank you, you are wonderful.
